Enough Talk, It's Time for Action!

Congratulations! You've gotten this far. Many before you have gotten sidetracked and distracted, but not you. You believe in God's relentless pursuit of humankind through Christ's selfless love; you believe it's more important to give than receive; you believe Jesus is building His Church and you want to be part of the action. Good, now let's roll up our sleeves and figure out how we put our feet to the street.

There are several ways in which you can become an active, vital part of Toronto Church Planting. Here are a few to stimulate your creativity (the possibilities are limited only by our imagination!):

• Visit us! Don't just take our word for it, come and see what's happening in Toronto with your own eyes. Then take the experience home and share it with your congregation.
  
• Host a church planter or TCP Servant at your location to stimulate vision, affinity and relationship.
  
• Organize a mission trip to Toronto:
  
  • Service missions: feed the hungry, clothe the poor, minor house repairs for needy families, run a bike repair and safety clinic, clean up parks, etc.
    
  • Sports missions: assist a church plant with a community sports program or with other activities to supplement the sports component.
    
  • Gospel missions: help with a VBS or Backyard Bible study, do door-to-door visitation, Gospel concerts, musicals or drama, etc.
    
  • Promotional missions: helping a church plant become more visible in its community can be just as vital as the other types of trips. Hand out flyers door-to-door, conduct community surveys, run a pancake breakfast or block party, etc.
    
• Adopt a church plant or planter. Take an active interest in the front line missions activitiy being accomplished in our sites. Share in the hardships and disappointments as well as the successes and challenges. Make a difference in the expanding Church by investing yourself relationally.
