What Do You See?

How much time have you put into hammering out your philosophy of ministry and personal vision? How firmly do you understand the task the Master has uniquely prepared for you? These are important questions to answer with ruthless transparency. Toronto Church Planting knows the direction in which we are headed; our energy is rising and momentum is building.

We are looking for church planters who will be abvision.pngle to help us achieve the massive task the Lord has entrusted to us. People who will be able to see things others can't yet see - to find opportunity where others see hardship (for example, what do you see in the picture to the right, a young woman or an old woman?). We are not looking for people who are more concerned about doing their own thing instead of contributing to the overall effort or who are so unfocused that they generate a lot of activity, but few results.

So what is our vision? In short, to plant 250 missional, reproducing and externally-focused churches by 2020.

Still want to know more? Great! Our next step is to share a deeper assessment.

Don't know what your personal vision is? That doesn't have to be the end of the story. If you are willing to be teachable, forthright and humble, we will work with you to discover where God is leading you for the next phase of your ministry.

"The vision is not a castle in the air, but a vision of what God wants you to be. Let Him put you on His wheel and whirl you as He likes, and as sure as God is God and you are you, you will turn out exactly in accordance with the vision. Donメt lose heart in the process. If you ever had the vision of God, you may try as you like to be satisfied on a lower level, but God will never let you." (Oswald Chambers)

"If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out they would have had opportunity to return. But as it was, they desired a better country." (Hebrews 11:15)
